validation process to
ensure a fully functioning, reliable, and secure Solar Energy
System on your home or business.
The Philosophy of Astralux Installations
include the Following Procedures:
- Ensure
the roof area or other installation site is capable of
handling the desired system size.
- We design only technically feasible systems and we will
work with you to deliver the system size you want, but
will never design a unfeasible system to deliver a larger
sized system. We ENSURE that you will have a fully functional
solar energy system that will output the amount of energy
that we state in the Energy Assessment Analysis.
- Identify a location for the Solar Energy System with minimal
shading from trees, vent pipes, and any adjacent
structures (such as a neighborhoods house).
- Design the system in compliance
with all applicable building and electrical codes.
- Design
the system with a minimum of electrical losses
meaning we use the absolute minimum wiring, fuses, switches,
and inverters while preserving maximum efficiency.
- Work closely with the utility company to insure that the design
meets local interconnection requirements.
- Properly seal any
roof penetrations with sealing
methods that EXCEED the basic requirements of the
roofing industry.
- Properly ground ALL
applicable system parts to reduce the threat
of shock hazards and power surges.
- Our crew recycles all of the boxes and any other recyclable
material at each job site - which adds up to a lot of recycled
cardboard!
